Bring the Spark — Build Your Future While Igniting Theirs

Whether you’re coaching a kid through their first robot build, mentoring a 3D printing project, or leading a camp full of young inventors, you’ll get hands-on experience with real technology, sharpen skills that universities and employers actually look for, and help London’s young builders discover what they’re capable of.

If you love STEM, love working with kids, and believe learning should feel like play — we’d love to meet you.

Who You’ll Be Working With

Spark Techies delivers project-based STEM experiences in London, Ontario — small classes, hands-on projects, and zero “sit and listen” lectures. Our kids design and code robots (LEGO Robotics, with competitive FLL, FTC, and WRO team opportunities), invent and 3D print their own creations using real CAD tools, and take on engineering challenges that teach them to prototype, test, fail, and try again. Our camps and parties spark confidence and creativity in a totally different way — high-energy, full-days of building and discovery.

What We Look For in Every Team Member

Whatever the role, these are the qualities that make a great Spark:

  • Genuine enthusiasm for STEM — curiosity is contagious; kids can tell when you love this stuff
  • Kid-friendly energy and patience — you celebrate the “aha!” moments and stay calm through the “it’s not working” moments
  • Problem-solving mindset — you guide kids toward answers instead of handing them out
  • Teamwork and collaboration — you communicate well with instructors, volunteers, and families
  • Reliability and initiative — you show up on time, prepared, and ready to jump in
  • Adaptability — every kid, class, and camp day is different, and you roll with it
